Ramada Limited Mount Sterling

The location worked well for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding, and the breakfast was good. The coffee was excellent. I’d stay again if we needed to. I’d requested a smoking room, but we were given a non-smoking one at check-in. I told Porcia at the front desk, and she immediately switched us to a different room and upgraded us for the inconvenience. I was impressed with how spacious it was. The fridge was cold, the beds were clean and comfy, and the AC worked well and got cold. I couldn’t get the microwave to work, but I was trying in the dark so I wouldn’t wake my husband, so maybe it did work.

They treated us wonderfully, and our dog was welcome too. The room was spacious and very clean. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and I highly recommend it.

The pool is decent, but the place looks nothing like the pictures. I should’ve checked more carefully before booking, but we’re sticking it out. I mainly chose it for the hot tub, and there isn’t one. The beds are uncomfortable, and the little fridge is broken. The freezer compartment has no door, so things fall out whenever you open it. The ice machine is literally in two pieces and barely hanging together, though it does give out ice. The heater warms the room quickly, but the fan squeals loudly when it starts. WiFi is super slow, and the TV and remote have seen better days. The remote is held together with duct tape. The room is dark, with too little lighting and not enough outlets for all our electronics. We’ll be here four days, and the kids need something to do.

The staff refused to provide clean pillowcases when we asked, and didn’t seem to think guests should get clean linens on request. They were rude and called the police, then lied about it because they didn’t want to do extra laundry. There are plenty of other places to stay in mount Sterling. Pass this one by.
