The Mariner Resort

We keep coming back because we love it here. It’s quiet, the staff are really nice, and the rooms are always clean. Both pools are fantastic, and the hot tub is a great extra. I also love sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the grass by the water, and having BBQ grills there is a nice touch. It’s close to everything, and I’d recommend it if you’re after a relaxed place to stay.

The place has a sweet feel to it, and the staff were friendly and efficient. For the price, I thought it was a great value. The heated pool and hot tub were both kept in very good shape.

We found The Mariner while driving around for a last-minute place to stay on a busy holiday weekend. Charlotte greeted us and immediately got to work helping us out. She and the rest of the staff were remarkably kind and professional. Since rooms were only available at different times, we split our stay between the motel and the river house. The motel room was basic, but worked perfectly for us, and we loved having coffee outside in the Adirondack chairs. The river house was even better than expected: lots of space, coastal charm, and fully stocked for hosting. It has five huge bedrooms plus other places to sleep, and a beautiful porch where you can catch the sea breeze. I’d love to come back and use it with family and friends. Thanks to The Mariner for such a memorable stay!

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and I appreciated the small microwave and roomy fridge/freezer. It’d be handy to have a coffee maker in the room. There’s coffee in the courtyard, but I’d like the option to get some after dinner, too. Still, it’s a nice place and I’ll definitely return.
