I knew the place might be old for what I paid, but the condition was beyond acceptable. The clock and lamp shared a power cord that had been spliced with electrical tape, with wires exposed. I checked in Friday night and there were no sheets or blanket on the bed. They brought them the next morning, but nobody came to clean on Saturday or Sunday. My key card stopped working both days, so I had to get it reprogrammed. It was alone in my pocket, away from my phone and cards. I also had to go get clean towels myself.

I left without staying because the double bed's mattress was awful, its springs squeaked, and there were roaches in the shower. Even so, OYO wouldn't refund my reservation and charged me $59.74 for the room. Don't stay here. The Dogwood Motel up the street is much better.

The room was right beside the road, and trucks, semis, and horns blared through the intersection just feet from the door. The parking lot out front was so rough it could pop a tire. My wife, infant son, and I were put in room 169 because, according to a man at the remote call center, it was the only non-smoking room available. The only hotel number listed online connected me to that call center. There were bed bugs, no bathroom lights at all, only empty sockets, and no soap. We got two rags, one dirty, and the sheets irritated our skin. I suspect there was mold because my throat hurt the next morning. The place assigned us this room despite its many problems, though it should have been taken out of service. I regret trying to save money here and giving the room the benefit of the doubt instead of going straight to the front desk to demand a different one. They don't approve refunds on site, so I'll have to take this up the corporate chain. I would never recommend this motel.

Water was leaking onto the floor from the loose bathroom sink, and the carpet was coming up in three spots. There were stains on the ceiling that looked like black mold. The room also had electrical problems, and three outlets had to be replaced. The wiring was aluminum, which seemed very dangerous. I told the front desk staff, and none of them had anything good to say about the hotel or OYO. I took pictures. This feels like a health and fire risk, and I wouldn't stay again unless they rewired and remodeled.

There were no trash bags in the room's bins, and I had to ask for towels. The soap had been left over from the previous guest.
