The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool is another story. It wasn’t heated inside or outside, and the pool room felt about the same temperature as outdoors. We booked in late January mainly so the kids could swim in an indoor pool, so that was disappointing. Aside from the pool, it was amazing, and I’d highly recommend it.

The restaurant staff shared some great local recommendations while I waited for my burger, which was amazing. Wanakee at the front desk was also super friendly and helpful. The pool, rooms, and lobby all had a beautiful, amazing atmosphere. I’d definitely stay again.

Andre and Harmony made us feel valued throughout our stay at the DoubleTree. Harmony was friendly, efficient, and ready to help with whatever we needed. Andre was welcoming, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. His customer service was the best I’ve seen in a long time. If you stay here, I highly recommend asking for Andre. He’s the kind of employee any hotel would want. Thanks again, Andre and Harmony, for a great experience.

Breakfast was lovely, the staff didn’t bother us, and we could even get extra time for checkout. Alexis and Sam at check-in were understanding and not judgmental about my OCD. I told them I needed daily laundry and room service, and they said no problem. Checking in with my two children was convenient, and I felt at ease once I saw the rooms were clean. I checked the beds for stains, and there weren’t any. I’m a neat freak. I flew all the way from Virginia and used to live here. My friends had been raving about this place, and it didn’t disappoint. I recommend it ten out of ten.

All the receptionists were smiling and friendly, and that made a real difference to our stay. Places don’t always realize how much a smiling staff can matter when you’re waiting or just walking in. You never know what someone might be dealing with or already feeling frustrated about. And the cookies were a great bonus. I slept so well, and I would’ve loved to take that bed home.
