Best Western Of Murphy

Breakfast was pretty limited, though Burger King and BoJangles are very close by. Walmart is across the highway, along with the cheapest gas in town. The housekeeping carts and wheelbarrow left in the covered walkway were a bit annoying. Our room was worn but kept in good order, and check-in was easy. We needed a ground-floor room for accessibility and our service dog, and they accommodated us without trouble. I’d absolutely stay again.

Try asking for a room at the front. People cooking under the tents in back, who I think were feeding the road crew, were talking and had their truck lights on around 4:30-5:00 in the morning. It was hard to sleep, and the police had to be called over a disturbance involving someone. The woman in the lobby was excellent.

We were happy with our overnight stay in room 105, Sunday into Labor Day Monday. The hotel was close to the casino and inexpensive, and its reviews had been good. It wasn’t newly updated or perfect, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV was big and looked great, and we had plenty of fresh towels and working air conditioning. There was a nice pool if we’d wanted to swim. We missed breakfast because it ended by 9am, though it looked like it might have been worth talking about lol.

There’s parking for trucks and trailers, and it’s easy to get in and out of those spaces. The property is older and a bit down and out, but it’s maintained fairly well. Staff were friendly, attentive, and polite.
