The rooms have stayed neat and clean every time my wife and I have visited over the past 10 years. The breakfast this time was a letdown, though, and we're not sure if that's because of the new owners. The desk clerk came across as arrogant and unconcerned about the food. Waffles stuck to the iron and wound up in a gooey pile, with no vegetable oil spray available. At 9 a.m. the clerk said the iron had been sprayed at 5:30. The warm milk had also been sitting at room temperature since then, with no ice in the carafe's center tube. The sausage gravy was hot and tasty, but the biscuits smelled moldy. We'll probably stay somewhere else next time.

I was planning to stay here in May, but they called today to cancel my reservation because the motel was closing effective immediately. They said the buyer plans to use the property for something other than a motel. Obviously the negatives had become too much for them to handle.

Our online booking at the Best Western wasn't in their system, so we ended up staying here instead. The room was okay, not dirty or anything, though it could've been better. We were pleasantly surprised, since it could've been much worse. It wasn't a horrible motel.

I'm a former employee, and I wouldn't stay at this HOTEL. The managers don't care about guest satisfaction. When I worked as a desk clerk, I saw some very big mice in the kitchen. They also smoke in all the rooms, even the ones marked non-smoking.

In my book, it was a great experience.
