Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites Midvalley

I was pleasantly surprised and would give this place another chance. The hotel is nice and in a great location. The microwave didn't work well, and the bathroom could use some attention, so I gave the rooms four stars. Service got four stars too because two of the day staff seemed not to like their jobs. They weren't rude, just very unhelpful and put off when I asked questions.

We had a lot of space, and those high ceilings really surprised me. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom clean, breakfast very good, and the lobby beautiful. The shower faucet wouldn't shut all the way, and even with the pin up, half the water came out of the spout. I'd stay again, probably on the second floor. I chose the first floor for my grandmother and her arthritis, but we were also near the pool, and a high school team upstairs happened to be stomping and running around, making a lot of noise on the way to it. I called the front desk twice, and they acted on the noise complaints right away, though there was only so much they could do and it wasn't their fault. We'd traveled six hours and hoped to sleep, but oh well. The website almost fooled me; its format could use an update.

There were plenty of places to shop and eat nearby, and the hotel was conveniently located for the area I wanted to visit. It was also near the high tea place in Murray I was attending. The property is a little older and could use some updating, but it was presentable and had a microwave, refrigerator and microwave. A good stop for a trip, with friendly front desk staff and plenty of parking. If I visit again, I'd sign up for the frequent-user program since they seem generous with their points.

It was comfortable and clean, and it felt like visiting family since the same friendly team was there as last time. Breakfast was made to order, and hot water and coffee were available 24/7. Thank you.
