SpringHill Suites by Marriott Murray

The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was quiet and clean. We didn't have breakfast, though it was available. There was a bit of a strong cleaning chemical smell at first, but it faded quickly.

We came for a 100th birthday celebration, and the staff were fabulous to work with. They helped make a special day even better, and I can't recommend them enough. The rooms are clean and spacious, parking is good, and the food includes both hot options and grab-and-go items.

After a long travel day, my family and I were exhausted when we pulled into Springhill Suites by Marriott. A gentleman at the service desk checked us in quickly and gave us our keys, one room for my parents and sister, another for my wife and me. I was too tired to get his name, but he also explained the amenities: a gym, indoor pool, free buffet breakfast, mini-market, and bar. My wife and I went down for a drink. The bar is comfortable, with plenty of seating, and Megan greeted us warmly and asked what we'd like. We had vodka tonics first, then margaritas. Since we were the only ones there, Megan handed us a remote so we could pick a TV channel. Her drinks were delicious, especially the margarita, and she brought us popcorn to go with them. We slept really well, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast the next morning was better than hotel free breakfasts can sometimes be: scrambled eggs, potatoes with peppers and onions, cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. Then we got a workout in. The gym had a bike, treadmill, elliptical, and dumbbells up to 50 pounds, plenty to work with. We enjoyed our three-day, two-night stay, and I've bookmarked Springhill Suites by Marriott for future visits to my family in Murray.

It's easy to get around Murray from this convenient spot at the north end of town, and there's plenty of parking. The hotel is very clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast is what you'd expect at a hotel and does the job. They don't offer dry cleaning here, but the rooms have an iron with steam. Everywhere in Murray is an easy drive.
