Comfort Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula Wine Country

Myrtle and Edith at the front desk really made the stay. Ask them for a funny story! The rooms were clean and breakfast was awesome. Good spot, and I hope I can stay there again.

We got in late, so we decided to put up with the problems, but I won't stay here again. The AC display was damaged, and I couldn't tell which setting was heat or cool. The room had tiny pillows, around 12 inches long, and the furniture had been removed from the wheelchair accessible room we were given, leaving nowhere for our personal things. The sink was also in the shower room, unlike in most hotels now. I hadn't asked for an accessible room. The door was hard to get through because it wouldn't close all the way. The manager helped us and already knew it was “finicky,” so we had to use the safety latch to keep it shut. The outlets by the bed didn't work either. We didn't tell the front desk since it was 11 p.m. and we were ready to sleep.

David sorted out the reservation trouble and upgraded us to one of the five nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. My wife and I came for a quick two day trip together, and we were very happy with the room. We could cook our own food and keep things in a fridge, and the breakfast was great too. I really didn't want to leave, but the trip had to end.

Everything about the stay is wonderful, and we keep choosing Comfort Inn every time. The staff are attentive and kind, the breakfast is great (though it ends too early for the kids, haha), and the laundry is good and reasonably priced. We come every few months for a break from the small trailer we're staying in while our house is being built. The one issue is the cleaner's smell. It seems like it's never diluted and it's so strong that I get severe migraines whenever we stay. A clean room is always welcome, but that scent is really, really potent.
