Days Inn Muskogee

For a work trip, it was passable, though several things need attention. The bathrooms had no fans and the shower curtain was moldy. When I asked the office for clean towels, none were available until the following day. They apologized when they brought them, but cleanliness needs improvement. It wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so I'm glad we checked the place out despite the bad reviews. One sheet looked dingy, and when I asked, the man at the front desk kindly apologized and brought me a brand new set. He was pleasant and even gave us extra coffee. We had plenty of hot water, good pressure, and strong cold AC. Maybe some of those reviewers expected a $100 room for $50. I'd stay again when passing through.

The front desk guy was nice, but the room had serious cleanliness problems. There was mold, smudged mirrors, and white crusty stuff on the door knob sign. Hair was in the tub and across the bathroom floor, and the towels had heavy stains that looked oily. Under the bed was a lot of what looked like plant dirt mixed with other debris. My son is highly allergic to mold and gets allergy shots every two weeks, so this wasn't a good situation for us.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we stayed for a few days. Our first room showed signs that a previous guest had a pet, but they moved us to another one. The room was simple and mostly clean, though the bathroom could use an update and the vacuuming, especially under the beds, should be better. We heard some guests running past the doors now and then, but it wasn't frequent.
