Fairfield Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach North

Alena and Steward made such a difference for my team and me. They greeted us with bright smiles every time and brought a warm, kind energy to their work. I travel for work a lot, so I notice how often customer care can feel impersonal. If I’m back in the area, I’d choose this hotel again because of those two. Thank you both for welcoming us so warmly!

After two nights, we left really disappointed. Checking in was difficult because both the system and phone lines were down, and they seemed short-staffed when we asked for things like bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was decent, though it could have been better. I’ve traveled to the beach for years, and this was my worst stay there. In my opinion, the hotel needs a remodel. Fairfield needs to do better or people will stay elsewhere, I can guarantee it.

The building exterior, landscaping, and parking area are all great, and breakfast is consistently very good. There’s a nice range of food and options, with a good dining area too. I’ve stayed here several times over the past couple of years, and the beds haven’t always felt the same. This last one had a deep channel through the middle that made me feel like I might roll into the crease.

My husband and I had a great time here. The rooms were roomy, and the continental breakfast was really delicious each morning. We’ll definitely come back!
