The Palace Resort #2311 Ocean Front

Palace 1506 was just what we needed for a weekend away. Tracy W was our air b n b host, and the communication was A1 from start to finish. The oceanfront view was beautiful, the space was clean, and the appliances were up to date. Everything was perfect. If you're in myrtle beach or need a getaway, I highly recommend booking this stay with Tracy W.

We couldn't adjust the air in the rooms, so it was hot as crap, which made it hard to sleep when you like it cold. We also found out only after getting into the room that we couldn't access the beach there. You have to walk four or five hotels down to get onto the beach or set out chairs. The front desk woman was rude and unhelpful. She kept repeating, “sir, I'm not maintenance,” and wouldn't let me speak. I've contacted hotels.com, had maintenance come up, and spoken to the front desk four times. The only people who tried to help were at hotels.com, but they said the property denied every option they offered. The property also said maintenance had left for the night, even though the man who came to our room told me in front of my wife and five-year-old that he'd speak with his manager and get it handled before he left. I would never book here again. Save yourself time and stay elsewhere.

I've been a snowbird in Myrtle Beach for ten years, and this is my first year at The Palace. We couldn't be happier with the great location and wonderful view. Everyone on staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance, has been amazing. There's covered parking and 24-hour security. I've already reserved for next year. If you want a reasonably priced place to stay, this is it.

Maria deserves a shout-out for being so helpful and friendly. I've stayed twice and already booked a third vacation. A few stores are an easy walk away, and there's a great hot dog place across the street.
