Oasis Suites Hotel

We’ve stayed here a few times over the past year, and the apartment-style rooms make it feel more like home than a hotel. We usually book an AirBnB when we visit the area, but we really love coming here. The views from the exterior-facing doors are impressive and unobstructed. Each morning, we enjoyed the relaxing walk from our room to the dock and boardwalk, then down to the gazebo. We haven’t visited during a season when the pool or hot tub was open, though both looked spacious and inviting. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and there are free snacks, coffee, and drinks in the lobby.

Our first visit was so lovely that I didn’t want to leave, and we’ve already booked another stay for this fall. I loved coming back to a made bed and plenty of fresh towels. Everything was immaculately clean, and our first-floor suite had lots of space and beautiful views. We could see the water of the Roanoke Sound from both the living room and bedroom. Andrea checked us in and was so sweet. Beverly was also wonderful and easy to talk to, like someone I’d known for ages. Thanks to everyone for such a great visit. I’m sure we’ll be back many times!

We tried Oasis Suites Hotel for the first time this past weekend and would happily return. Our spotless room looked out over the water, and everyone on staff was very friendly. The outdoor pool was a nice bonus. Restaurants and shops are conveniently nearby without being too close.

The two-room suite gave us plenty of space, and the balcony had nice views of the sound. The thick, fluffy towels were great. Make sure to get a room on the waterfront side: highway noise behind the hotel carries even when you’re looking at the water, and the roadside of the property is even noisier. The floor squeaked constantly wherever we walked, which got irritating. I also wasn’t entirely comfortable that one hotel door and the elevator access were in a public area without requiring a key. We didn’t use the pool because it didn’t look clean.
