Sherburne Inn

We had such a great stay at the Sherburne Inn with our infant. Everyone was accommodating, and the place was spotless and stocked with all the essentials. There was breakfast and snacks, plus dessert waiting when we got back from dinner. The service was excellent, and we’ll definitely stay here again.

The continental breakfasts were a highlight, with fresh homemade pastries and muffins, juice, and fresh coffee. We also enjoyed the evening wine and cheese. Karen, the owner, and Madelon, the hostess, went out of their way to make our stay special. My wife and I spent a few days in Nantucket in August 2016, staying at the Sherburne Inn. Our room was comfortable, and both it and the bathroom were clean, with the bathroom adequate. The warm, well-run inn is conveniently placed for downtown shopping, the harbor, and beaches. We’d gladly return when we visit Nantucket again.

Kara, the manager, was helpful with suggestions about what to do and where to go, and kept in touch well before we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, with nice linens, and the continental breakfast was excellent. I especially loved the “Overnight Oatmeal,” the best I’ve ever had. It’s a quaint bed and breakfast in a great spot for restaurants, walking into town, and the Marina. We had a really enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was a treat, especially the delicious butterscotch scones, with plenty of coffee and flavored water. Our petite queen room had more than enough space, and the bed was comfortable. It’s an easy walk from the ferry and only minutes from the center of town, with a welcoming, warm feel. A great base for biking around the whole island. Thanks for a lovely stay!
