Their Bernese Mountain Dog is always there to welcome guests, which is just what an inn needs. The owners are kind and happy to share good local recommendations. Breakfast came on a tray every morning and had an amazing spread. The rooms are simple and historic, but very clean. The inn is quaint and close enough to walk to everything downtown and the bus stops, while still being far enough from nightlife noise for a good night's sleep.

Susie at the front desk had plenty of suggestions for places to go, things to see, and spots to eat. She was also so accommodating when I asked for a quiet room away from everyone. Our room at the barnacle in was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the customer service was top-notch. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place earned one. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Massachusetts. Thanks for making our stay fabulous!

A nice breakfast is included, and the Barnacle Inn on Nantucket is a cozy, clean place with quaint old-world charm. It’s a perfect base for the downtown area and Main Street.

Suzie and Phil made our stay at the Barnacle Inn especially memorable with their kindness and hospitality. The inn is charming and inviting, right in the middle of everything. We loved having coffee and breakfast in the front garden in the morning, then enjoying wine and stargazing there at night. Highly recommend!

The complimentary breakfast each morning and afternoon cookies on the outdoor porch and patio were particular treats. The Barnacle Inn is family-run, and you can tell the owners care about the property and their guests. Our rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location is hard to beat. It’s just a block from Main Street, so shops, restaurants, and attractions are easy to reach on foot, yet the inn sits far enough back to stay quiet and peaceful. A lovely mix of charm, comfort, and convenience. We’ll stay here again on our next Nantucket trip.
