Carneros Resort and Spa

The complimentary breakfast at the hilltop restaurant was fresh and really satisfying, and the outdoor soaking tubs were a favorite. The staff gave us top-notch service and made my wife’s and my babymoon memorable. We’ll be back!

The service team was fantastic, always around and ready to lend a hand. We also had a great midnight visit to the hot tub and pool, and the outdoor fireplace made it lovely to sit outside, sip wine, and listen to nature. We stayed three nights for our 10th anniversary, from 12/06/25 - 12/09/25. As Hilton Diamonds, we think we got an upgrade to Sycamore 8 from the base room we booked. We arrived around noon, but the room wasn’t ready until about 2:30, so we grabbed beers at the little market, went into town for burgers, then came back to check in. The casita was gorgeous and reminded us of our overeater villa in the Maldives, except about half the size. The fireplace was cozy, the bed even more so, and you could leave the patio doors open at night for cool air. We missed having a microwave, but really appreciated the heated bathroom floors. The outdoor shower door inside the shower had a gap that let cold air in, which wasn’t ideal. I tried both the outdoor tub and shower, though, and it felt freeing. There are heaters in the outdoor lounge chairs too. The hotel is about 12 minutes outside Napa proper, with several wineries nearby. I hear Sonoma is close too, though we didn’t go. Parking was plentiful. There’s a gym we didn’t use, and we didn’t try the boon fly cafe either. We walked by and it smelled addicting. Napa and Yountville had so many good options, we didn’t need to. The pool felt around 75 degrees to me, and the hot tub was hot, perfect for Napa’s warm winters.

We had such a good babymoon here and are already looking forward to coming back. There are lots of amenities, and the hotel manages to be kid-friendly while still feeling peaceful for an adults’ vacation. Jennifer, Adrian and Julian were especially kind and helpful. All the staff seemed genuinely happy to work there, which you don’t see often.

Carrie went out of her way to make our stay special. My parents were visiting from abroad, and she made sure everything felt thoughtful and memorable. We were upgraded to a beautiful residence, and it couldn’t have been nicer. We spent Christmas break at Carneros, where the decorations across the property looked beautiful and made everything feel warm and festive. We’re very grateful for the attentive, kind staff and the whole experience. Thank you!
