The Gables Suite was clean, spacious, and quiet, with a high, comfortable bed. Other rooms were unavailable when we booked, and we didn’t mind our choice, but there are a few layout things to know: it’s on the top floor up narrow stairs, and there are steps in the room between the sink and bathroom area and the bed. The shower and toilet are in their own room, while the sink is in the entryway. The inn is historic, lovely, and well kept, on a quiet street within easy walking distance of downtown Napa. Each room is different. Rates are very reasonable, and the included breakfast is very good. A great choice in Napa.

Tim made check-in warm and friendly, and the location was well connected to downtown and easy to reach by car. Parking was conveniently inside the hotel. Our room was clean and ready, and everything worked as expected. They understood our dietary preferences, and the two-course breakfast was the most appealing part, really soulful. Checkout was smooth too. I would have liked a larger room and bath, so I held back one star. Still, I highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was heavenly, cooked fresh to order, and the location is perfect for downtown Napa. There are bikes on the property too. I loved it so much I added an extra night. The staff were fantastic, and my room was huge and comfortable, with a fireplace and king-size bed. I’m already dreaming about coming back to Cedar Gables.

We had a really charming, comfortable stay at this inn. The service was great, as was breakfast. Our room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfy bed. Highly recommended.

Nicole was an especially gracious host, and the breakfast was tasty and gourmet. The building has a unique historic character, and it was clean and well kept. Our room was cozy. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.
