GoodSpring Motel

The night I stayed, I found a giant spider in the room my company had booked. I called the office to report it and waited on hold for more than half an hour, unable to rest. I also contacted my office and sent proof of the insect. Nearly 45 minutes passed before the receptionist came by, only to ask whether I was afraid of spiders. I’m not, but it’s hard to relax when you think there may be poisonous insects in your room. Most of the window blinds were damaged. I rested for a few hours, then left wondering why hotel owners don’t care about travelers’ peace of mind. Maybe they’ve already got their money and figure we’ll put up with it. That’s my view as an employee who travels for work. The service was terrible. They seem interested in money, not customers. They charge an extra $25.00 for a coffee.

The pool was pretty cold, while the hot tub was pleasantly hot. The motel has recently been remodeled. The room felt small with the king bed, but it had a mini fridge, a little microwave, and very good lighting. The vanity area was a nice touch.

Darcy at reception was polite and really helpful. The room was very clean and had some nice extras, including a high-resolution smart TV, modern fixtures, a microwave, and a fridge. I’ll definitely stop here again.

The room was updated, nicely designed, and very clean, with lots of lighting. The front desk was friendly, and quickly arranged an upstairs room when I asked because I’m a light sleeper. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, and there are plenty of conveniences nearby. The motel is in a busy area and the room walls are thin. I could hear everything outside: people talking, the AC below me, and every car. Bring earplugs or you may not sleep. As a solo traveler, I’d also like an extra lock on the inside of the door to feel safe.
