Hotel Napa Valley, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Cute place with comfortable beds and rooms I liked. Breakfast was good, though a bit uneven: the coffee was burnt and the juices tasted off. Great experience overall, with a few quirks.

Dolly and her family were so attentive and lovely. We sat by the outdoor fire in the evenings, and when the fireplace had no log on the second night, Dolly had one there by the time we got back from dinner. Such a thoughtful touch. Water was available all around the property too, which was great. They upgraded us for the first weekend in October 2025 to cottage room #2, with our daughter in #3 next door. Both rooms were nice and very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was served both mornings, piping hot, and they explained the meal and checked that everything was okay. The three of us had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

Free parking, a great location, and a pretty good value made this a nice stay. The place could use a little updating, though it was fine as is. It's a quaint hotel with a B&B atmosphere, including thin walls. Breakfast was decent, better than most chain hotels but not as good as a B&B breakfast.

We were very happy with room #14 King, which felt clean and comfortable, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is within easy walking distance of lots of dining and nightlife, and wineries throughout the valley are an easy drive away. The walls are a bit thin, so you may hear happy hallway noises. We'd stay again. Breakfast was surprisingly good, and as someone who's gluten free, I appreciated that they adjusted my order each morning at no extra charge. That's a big deal when traveling. A heads-up about the rooms: friends in #11 Queen had a dramatically smaller one than ours. The water pressure was a little low, which seemed understandable in an older building.
