Best Western Naperville Inn

It’s an older property, but the bed was comfortable and low enough to get into easily. The bathroom was spacious, well lit, and the shower and bath were easy to use, though there wasn’t counter space for toiletries. There was a desk and chair, plus a sofa chair and a spot to charge a phone and connect a computer. The room was quiet. The elevator is on the small side.

Stay away. My first room smelled like an ashtray, and after I pleaded for a change, the replacement had bed bugs everywhere. I was told this was a common problem that people complain about daily. Another guest came out while I was dealing with it and said there was no hot water and the TV reception didn’t work. I don’t understand the 8.5 rating; this place was below a one in my book. I plan to report it to the health inspector.

The place itself was very nice, but we would never recommend it to anyone while Susan is still the manager. She came across as rude, ignorant, arrogant, and snotty. You feel as though you have to walk on eggshells around her, and like she’s doing you a favor by letting you stay. I’ve talked with a lot of people who feel the same way, and there are many complaints. It’s very unprofessional. Corporate needs to get more involved and fix this major problem.

We spent a week here on vacation. The room was roomy, the bed was comfy, and the water pressure was amazing. We had a microwave and fridge, so we could keep food and treats in the room for the week and relax. Getting around by bus was a bit of a pain without a car, but there were lots of food places and stores within walking distance.
