Asiago Vacation Rental at Lely Resort. Newly Furnished 2-Bedroom Condo with Stunning Lake & Golf Views. Spacious Retreat with Private Lanai, Resort Pool, Hot Tub and Gym Access

We'd booked this vacation house at a pretty high price for five days, a month ahead, but nobody contacted us or sent an access code. After a full day of travel, we arrived with two older parents and two little kids and found there was no one to check us in. We called over and over and left voicemails all night and the next morning, but got no answer. Near midnight, we had to book another hotel. When I finally spoke with the owner, she was unbelievably rude, unethical, and unprofessional. She wasn't apologetic, refused to refund the two days we couldn't get into the house, and argued with us instead. Mistakes happen, but once someone knows about one, they should try to sort it out. She should have apologized for forgetting to contact us and for having no system to answer calls, then refunded those two days right away. An ethical owner might even have paid for our other hotel or offered a complimentary night, but she did nothing. It's been three months and we still haven't received any refund. The place isn't great for the price either. Who wants to deal with an awful owner and business when they're trying to enjoy a vacation?
