Naples Garden Inn

I needed somewhere affordable and clean at the last minute, and this place was a nice surprise. It was quiet and felt safe, and the little beach decorations were done well, not tacky. I'd definitely come back.

Back for our second year, and it still feels better than its star rating suggests. The pool is huge and really clean, with an outdoor spot to relax or have the included breakfast. The staff are friendly, and the location works great.

A friend was so grossed out that he slept in the truck. At checkout I showed the receptionist the photos, and she copied them. She agreed it was disgusting, but two days later we still hadn't heard anything from the manager, after trying to reach him several times. Apparently this isn't high on his list. We'd booked the wrong dates, so we paid for a suite on the first day. We weren't even there, but those rooms were clean and laid out nicely. The trouble started after we moved to another room. Under a black light, one bed showed what looked like a bloody handprint, and the other had blood across the places you'd expect if someone had slept in it, from head to toe. Disgusting.

The rooms and grounds were clean, and the pool was lovely. It's a good, affordable choice for families. My one complaint is how thin the walls are. You hear everything, from coughing to people talking.
