expressway inn

On February 3rd, 2025, I arrived at this Expressway Inn by cab around 5:00 PM after calling earlier to ask about a room. I knew one wasn’t guaranteed, but seeing hardly any cars at the front building made the answer feel odd. Tasha rushed out of the office and said there were no rooms. She was abrupt and said something like, “You didn't like it that much when you were here previously and it is worse now.” It felt like she was trying to discourage me from staying, though I don’t know why. I’d stayed there for about three years and had been a good guest. I said something like, “We had a good connection at one time, and it's like, you just completely changed.” She snapped back, “Sir, there are no rooms available!” I’m not sure what happened, but she had previously been tactful and diplomatic with me, and this time she was much more abrasive. That kind of treatment gives prospective guests less reason to stay. Staff should be respectful to potential customers, since they may not know what someone has been going through before the interaction, or how they’ll react to a rude worker. Society feels more volatile than before, and someone else might not handle it as well as I did.
