The Westin Nashville

Our first trip to Nashville was made especially memorable by this hotel. I travel often and stay at many Marriott properties, and this stay stood out. The Belmont Suite became the centerpiece of our trip: beautifully designed, spotless, and so comfortable, with one of the best beds I've slept in. The property was welcoming and well maintained, and the service felt warm, thoughtful, and professional. Every detail seemed intentional, and we felt valued. We'd absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville.

Blake from Valet was incredibly helpful and professional, with amazing customer service. The bar, unfortunately, left us feeling misled. My lemon drop martini cost $15 for Tito’s, plus another $5 for ordering it as a “martini.” My husband was charged $4 for an Old Fashioned and then $19 for a double, but the glass was barely a quarter full and didn't reach the whiskey cube. The bartender also offered me prosecco to “try,” which I thought was complimentary, but our bill showed a $14 charge. At those prices, we expected clear pricing and proper pours. The charges felt excessive and unclear, a poor experience for a hotel presenting itself as upscale. We won't be back.

I've stayed at the Westin a few times and keep enjoying its friendly, pleasant atmosphere. On my latest visit, Ali and her team were wonderful from arrival through departure, and check-in was completely smooth. The valet guys welcomed me promptly and opened the lobby doors. I love staying here when I'm in town.

Breakfast room service was excellent, with a friendly server and a real omelette made with real eggs, still piping hot. The rooms are clean and nice, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are helpful. When the TV gave us trouble, it was fixed in minutes. Decker & Dyer has a good atmosphere, servers, and drinks, but the food is bad. I've tried it more than twice, so it isn't a fluke. They need to update the menu. The outdoor pool is more like a kiddie pool, and its glass sides magnify your body for guests eating at the restaurant. There were no robes in the room, so bring your own. A revamp of D&D would make a big difference.
