Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Green Hills

We were greeted right away as Diamond members and given soda and snacks. There’s a washer and dryer for $3 each, a small fitness area, and an outdoor pool. We never tried breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. Everything the hotel could control was great. The only nuisance was other guests letting their doors slam. This is a great choice if you’re driving in. It’s the closest you’ll get to downtown with free parking. Shopping and dining are nearby, but too far to walk, so make sure you have a car. We’re very happy with the stay and will keep coming back for shows and games.

I’ve stayed here twice, and both visits were great. The lobby has a lovely double-sided fireplace in the middle, seating on both sides, and pretty holiday decorations. Fresh coffee was available both times. There’s a complimentary breakfast with a nice seating area, and the rooms, beds, bathroom, and shower were all very nice and comfortable. Shopping is close enough to walk to, and downtown Nashville is a reasonably convenient drive. I think it’s well worth the price.

We brought 16 people in from out of town, and Lisa and Rachel made sure we had what we needed in both the sleeping rooms and meeting rooms. Rachel was there at 7AM to open the conference room and bring the coffee and snacks we’d requested. The glass-enclosed conference room on the top floor worked very well for us. It was spacious and temperature controlled, though on a clear sunny day the light comes through the ceiling, which may bother some people. Our sleeping rooms were updated and very clean, even the shower curtains. The hotel is well cared for, with fresh, hot breakfasts and lots of choices each morning. We also used the inviting lobby and breakfast area every evening, and the big center table’s outlets came in handy. There’s a mall and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Downtown isn’t far, and the airport is about 20-25 minutes away in good traffic. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel.

We were staying nearby because a family member was at Vanderbilt hospital. The place felt homey and comfortable, with clean, cozy rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The bed was a little too firm for me personally, but I’d still come back. Breakfast was a very nice continental spread: waffle makers, cereal, eggs, sausage, breads, yogurt, fruit, plus plenty of juice, coffee, and tea. There were two fireplaces with lots of seating. A well-stocked nook had two coolers of drinks and snacks, a wall of more snacks, travel toiletries, and other things you might need so you wouldn’t have to run out for basics. They also had three heated coffee dispensers and a hot water dispenser for tea. The place seemed thoughtfully set up to keep travelers comfortable.
