Holiday Inn Express And Suites- Nashville-i-40&i-24[spence Ln]

We were stranded in Nashville, and this hotel came to our rescue. I appreciated having coffee available all the time, parking right beside the front door, and the fact that it felt safe. The fresh pancake machine made pancakes in a minute, which I liked, and the AC worked well. The rooms were good, breakfast was great, and the service was exceptional. Thanks for a great stay.

The front desk manager and staff were wonderful, helpful, and did a great job. I was thankful the hotel was available when I needed a place, and the front desk service was good. The room and hallway smelled a bit old and moldy, though. The old, torn blinds were awful, and I couldn't even raise them to look outside. I also found two dead bugs, one under the bathroom sink and one on the window seal. I'd love to see more Holiday Inn Express locations bring back complimentary lobby snacks for guests. I miss those days.

The surrounding area has really heavy traffic. In the hotel, my room hadn't been cleaned well when I checked in, and there were long hairs left in the bathtub. The AC unit is noisy, the fitness center has lots of broken equipment, and the elevator is rough. I left for work before breakfast started, so I didn't try it. I won't be back.

The room was very clean, and the women at the front desk were kind and helpful. Service was amazing. Breakfast was good, though the attendant didn't seem to stay on top of things when items ran out. The bathroom ceiling had peeling paint. Nighttime noise is why I rated the location low. You can hear all the traffic outside, so light sleepers may have a hard time.
