Holiday Inn Nashville Downtown - Stadium by IHG

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they fixed our broken sink drain quickly. The room was clean and pretty good otherwise, but we had several problems: the sink and shower water pressure was poor, the room phone didn’t work, we couldn’t get the TV working, and the two queen beds were very hard. We also paid almost $60 for parking over just two nights, which felt unacceptable. The other issues overshadowed the good service, and I won’t stay at this hotel again.

Shinia at the front desk is always smiling and helpful, and she makes you feel welcome right away. Alora was wonderful at breakfast too, keeping everything tidy and stocked and clearing dirty plates quickly. She was hardworking, kind, and great to chat with. More guests should tip her. We made sure to show our appreciation. We stay at this Holiday Inn every time we come to Nashville, and it’s consistently a great experience. Our rooms have always been spotless, and the free parking is a big plus, with a lot that’s easy to get in and out of. The shuttle driver was fantastic too, friendly, prompt, and helpful, though I didn’t get his name. Breakfast was great. Gravy alongside the biscuits would be nice, though! We also enjoyed the layout, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in late November.

The free shuttle to Broadway Street was one of the best parts of our stay. It saved us time and effort. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. There’s a bar downstairs, and although I can’t recall the bartender’s name, he was very sweet and made sure we were comfortable. We had a pleasant, comfortable stay.

My room was 825, and its supposed city view was just construction and the stadium. I’d booked and paid for a city view, but at checkout the receptionist admitted that rooms ending in 25 aren’t city view rooms. It felt like they were knowingly selling those rooms under the wrong description. Then I found pubic hair on a towel when I went to dry my hair. I felt sick, and when I checked two more towels, both had hair on them too. I have blonde hair, and it definitely wasn’t mine. The cleanliness was shocking. When I raised these problems, the receptionist showed no concern, barely reacted, and said, “I’ll add 2000 points to your account.” There was no apology, urgency, or offer of a refund, since they said they don’t do refunds. The 2000 points never showed up either. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Nashville Stadium, and this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had in years. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect the room type you paid for, clean towels, or staff who take your concerns seriously.
