The staff were so sweet and understanding, and I especially appreciated Landon and the team. I booked a two-night escape for $1,500 to unwind, after searching for a tub I could relax in alone with a glass of wine. The water pressure was so low that the tub was filling slowly and the water was already getting cold before it was a quarter full, which was a huge disappointment. Back in the room later, the couch felt awkward and uncomfortable, and the TV couldn’t be moved. The floors were very dusty, as the photos show. I wasn’t comfortable with the room or the value for the price, especially since relaxing in the tub was the main reason I booked.

We had a great stay, with friendly staff and spacious rooms that felt upscale without upscale prices. They gave us complimentary water after check-in, and there are free lobby drinks every day from 5 to 6 p.m. The hotel is about two miles from Broadway, close enough for a downtown feel but away from the noise and chaos. It was a good escape without being far from anything. The hotel is dog friendly, though watch for tight spaces with other dogs in the hallways or around corners. There was one small incident where staff accidentally gave someone else our room number after we checked in. It didn’t bother us, and they gave us a $50 credit. I recommend valet parking, $54 a day or $64 for large trucks. It was convenient to message them and have the car brought around in a few minutes. We had no other issues and would happily recommend a stay here.

The pool was a great place to unwind after exploring Nashville, and dinner at Henley was one of the trip’s highlights. Everything we ordered was amazing. The staff also made it easy to travel with our dogs, and the Kimpton Aertson Hotel was very pet friendly. We’d absolutely stay again.

I liked the boutique feel, the interesting restroom decor, and the shower, which was roomy, had a seat, and came with full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Service was great, too. We asked for a microwave and had one delivered. The lobby had tea and coffee in the morning, plus complimentary happy hour with wine and sweets. There’s a small gym with limited gear, including treadmills, dumbbells, and kettlebells. Check-in was easy, the room was ready, and the decor stood out. On a cold evening, the valet was ready at the door, and it was lovely to walk into a warm lobby. The room was on the dark side, and the concrete ceilings felt cold and a little out of place. My main concern was the balcony door, which didn’t lock. They added a chain, but even if it worked, it seemed easy to bypass. I’ve never seen a balcony door without a bolt lock. The balcony was large enough for someone to sit on, so it needs a better security solution.
