Sleep Inn Nashville Downtown Opryland Area

After more than an hour of hunting for a room in Nashville, I finally got a last-minute cancellation at the Sleep Inn on Dickerson Pike. I’d come for a concert without booking ahead, and most nearby hotels were full or incredibly expensive. Lesson learned, book in advance. I hadn’t stayed at a Sleep Inn before and didn’t know what to expect, but this one was clean, quiet, and well kept. The room was in good shape, and the desk gentleman was polite and accommodating. He suggested places to eat nearby, and his friendly manner helped ease my frustration after the search. Breakfast was available, but we skipped it to meet friends for brunch at a nearby restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about the stay and will use them again next time I’m in Nashville. Thanks, Sleep Inn, and please acknowledge the guy who checked us in. I forgot his name, oops!

Bert made the arrival easy when I was worried that the booking my sister made might cause trouble with ID or payment. He took in why I was visiting Nashville and found me a convenient room, which I really appreciated. He was kind, helpful, and full of useful information. My friend and I had never been downtown, and he gave us a helpful sense of what it’s like. I’d stay here again. An Uber downtown wasn’t too expensive, I think $12 for the fastest ride, and there’s food nearby for late night. Shoutout to Bert, he’s AWESOME!

The room was clean and everything worked as it should. Bert was welcoming during check-in and suggested some good nearby places to eat. It was quiet aside from the interstate, so if that doesn’t bother you, I’d recommend staying here.

The room seemed dated, and breakfast was minimal. I hated the microfiber sheets, and the toilet paper left something to be desired.
