The Magnolia 10 - Avantstay Germantown w Private Balcony

Apartment 1 was spacious, clean, and luxurious, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It had everything we needed, including a large oven, a fridge with ice options, a washing machine, and even two dishwashers. The WiFi worked well, and getting in with a code was easy. We felt safe using the free parking behind the building. It’s in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of the city center. I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment is nice, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need reliable access. One night, the keypad stopped working and my colleagues and I were stuck outside. Sonder sent several replacement codes, but none worked. They then tried to give us access to an on-site manager’s storage office so we could get a backup key, but couldn’t find the right code. We were in town for work and needed our belongings, so after two hours outside with no successful support from Sonder, we stacked outdoor furniture from around the complex to climb about 20 feet and enter through the balcony. The next day it took Sonder half the workday to locate and bring us a physical backup key. One colleague had to stay in the apartment so we could get in and out. We weren’t the only apartment in the complex with this problem during our stay. Sonder gave us $50 in compensation, about a third of one night’s stay.

The townhouse exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and great for walking to shops and places to eat. Loved it!

The courtyard was great for our dogs, and getting around was easy, whether we were walking to nearby food and coffee or driving to the Nashville sights we wanted to see. We spent a lovely holiday week at the Magnolia with family. The place looked just like the pictures and felt like a home, which was a relief after seeing so many Nashville listings with bunk beds everywhere. The beds, showers, supplies, and kitchen appliances were all good, and parking was simple. AvantStay responded quickly when we needed supplies, even on Christmas Eve. We loved staying here and would come back and recommend it.
