1 Hotel Nashville

The room was beautiful and the staff were polite, but I wouldn't stay here again. For a place often called five-star, the visit fell short. At dinner, the lamb I ordered medium-rare came well past that. The calamari was a tiny, very oily portion, dressed with so many garnishes it looked bigger than it was. The restaurant calls breakfast "free," but it actually comes as a $60 credit. They don't tell you the amount upfront, so you have to ask for the final bill to learn the real charge. That felt misleading. There were problems in the room too. The toilet faces the bathroom area, and water slowly leaked from the bathroom into the toilet space. I found a long hair on a towel that looked unused, which made me question the cleanliness. When staff brought the welcome amenity, they walked in without waiting for my answer or permission. I had to hurry to get dressed to receive them.

The spa was my favorite part of the birthday trip, though I loved the whole stay. Service was amazing from beginning to end, and the rooms, drinks, even the soap, all felt top tier. The location is great, with everything within walking distance. They brought cake and champagne to my room, which made me feel so spoiled. Can't wait to return.

We were there with our dog during Winter Storm Fern, while much of the city was dealing with serious disruption. The hotel still felt calm, organized, and welcoming, and the staff were every bit as thoughtful with him as with us. 1 Hotel Nashville is beautiful and relaxing, with live plants throughout. What really makes it stand out is the team: every interaction was warm and attentive without feeling like too much, and you can see how much care they put into working together. It's unusual for a newer hotel to earn locals' trust so quickly. We now recommend it to friends coming to Nashville for a special stay, and we'll be back ourselves for the restaurants and service.

The staff made our Christmas especially memorable. We were traveling from Florida to Chicago and stayed at 1Hotel along the way. Codi made us feel welcome before we even arrived, with helpful ideas for spending the evening in Nashville. On Christmas Eve, custom cards and sweet treats were a lovely extra. Jarius knows Nashville well and was a great host, and when we left something behind, the front desk team helped promptly and accommodatingly. Everyone was warm and went out of their way for us. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a clean, modern design that made it easy to relax. The location was convenient for the highway and several attractions. We wish we could give the service and rooms more than five stars.
