Aloft by Marriott Framingham

The room was spacious, comfortable, and newly furnished. It was so large there was room for a desk or small couch as well. The bedding and mattress were comfortable, and everything looked fresh, from the paint and flooring to the clean, modern bathroom. The entrance and lobby felt welcoming and up to date, and the staff were friendly. A great place to stay, and I’d come back.

We stayed at Aloft Framingham for the weekend and had a good time. The room was large, very clean, and comfortable, with a king bed. There are lots of places to shop and eat nearby. I would have liked another chair to relax in and a second garbage can near the coffee maker. Even so, I’d gladly stay here again when I’m in the area.

Our second-floor room opened down to the lobby, and it stayed noisy until midnight. The room itself was really bare bones, the furniture was stained, and the bathroom sink area felt cramped.

After a seven-hour bus ride on a group trip to Boston, I went alone to the lobby bar around 10:30 PM on August 10, 2025, hoping to relax with a cocktail. Instead, the bartender made me very uncomfortable. He was an older man, perhaps 55 to 70, with an Eastern European accent. After asking my age, marital status, and job, he repeatedly talked about wanting to be with a Chinese woman and called it his “fantasy.” The conversation kept turning sexual. When I was the only customer left, he asked what room I was in, whether I wanted to “invite” him, and said, “maybe you and I give a try.” I felt trapped because I hadn’t finished or paid for my drink yet. Back in my room, I called the front desk right away. They apologized, but said there was nothing they could do and suggested talking to the manager in the morning. I’m writing this review now and plan to bring it to the hotel manager tomorrow. I have the cocktail receipt. I don’t know the bartender’s name, though he was the only one working at the bar then. The experience was deeply embarrassing, and I felt sexually harassed. Ladies, be aware, don’t go to this bar alone.
