Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Appleton International Airport

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom seemed clean, and the staff were all very nice. Still, finding someone else’s steak and hash browns, along with juices, in the fridge made me wonder what else might have been missed. I don’t know how long the leftovers had been there. I told the front desk, and they offered to remove them, but said nothing else. We stayed overnight for the football game and checked in early that evening. This was our first time staying outside Appleton for a game.

This was our third time here, and we’ve also stayed at other Cobblestone properties. We’re booking them more often because we’ve usually been very satisfied. At this location, check-in was quick as usual, the beds and pillows were delightful, and the bathroom looked very clean. Housekeeping followed through on requests for towels and garbage removal and were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. Other Cobblestone hotels have had better food and service. The choices here were basic, which was okay, but food ran out for much of the time even though it wasn’t busy. We stayed five days and there was never any coffee. Each morning I went to the front desk, and they brought some out as soon as it was available. They were nice about it. One day I asked the breakfast worker for coffee, and she rudely said it was the front desk’s responsibility, not hers. That was a bad moment among otherwise nice staff and amenities. The towels were a smaller issue: they felt rough and smelled a bit off. Not awful, just not the soft, fresh towels you’d expect.

My room was spacious, comfortable, and kept in great shape. The hotel felt modern and clean, with good amenities, and everything went smoothly from check-in through checkout. I’ve had good stays at Cobblestone Hotels before, and this one was no different. I’d recommend it.

My husband and I loved this place, and it’s now my go-to for Packers games. It’s about 30 minutes from the stadium. Shay was amazing, the restaurant food and drinks were great, and they had Starbucks coffee too.
