I wouldn’t stay here again. The king mattress was destroyed, there was what looked like cat or dog food behind the furniture, and the room felt tired and dirty. There was no kitchen equipment, the phone in the room didn’t work, and the $100 deposit hadn’t been disclosed when I made the reservation.

I’d come back. The price was right, my room was clean enough for my standards, and the room at the back was fairly quiet. I didn’t hear freeway traffic or Jake brakes. There also seemed to be security cameras around the property, including over some of the parking areas. It was a basic, no-frills room in an old, run-down motel. It appears to be the same property as the Econolodge on the same block, with dual branding and possibly different room equipment. My room had a kitchenette, but there were no kitchen tools, dishes, or silverware at all. The clerk said there’d be a $60 deposit at check-in. I had my credit card ready to pay it, then he decided not to charge it. Go figure.

This stay was awful, even though I’d stayed here before without any problems. The first room smelled bad and had dog poop stuck to the bathroom door. They moved us, but the next room’s A/C didn’t work, and it was 85 degrees outside. We ended up in a third room with a queen instead of the king we’d paid for. After all that trouble, they offered no compensation.

Please don’t stay here. I found bed bugs and roaches, and saw other rooms with bugs too. The rooms may look nice, but they’re unclean. They told me I had to leave over the holiday weekend because they were booked, even though they weren’t, just because I complained about the bugs. I left the room the way I found it, but never got my refund or deposit back.
