Aviation Inn

We left the same night we arrived for Electric Daisy Carnival. The room was awful: the floor and table were sticky, the table had some kind of fluid on it, and the place smelled like sweat. Towels were dirty, hard, and crusted. The old bed had stains and a spring sticking out, so I bought a cover to put over it, the pillows, and the blankets, which were hard and crusty too. There were also several people who seemed to be living in cars parked right in front of the ground-floor rooms. I suspect some of the five-star reviews are fake accounts meant to bury the many one-star reviews. I wouldn’t stay here, and I don’t think it deserves more than two stars.

Everyone at the Aviation Inn made us feel welcome, and the place was clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and smiling as we came in. Samara and Tamiko checked me in, and they were especially warm, polite, and helpful. They’re a riot, and you can tell they enjoy their work and care about guests. Both went above and beyond with their customer service. Thanks to them and the whole staff for the hospitality.

Being homeless in Vegas is hard. If you’re serious about changing your life, come to Aviation Inn. When I joined the program, I knew I needed to focus on understanding things, and the staff helped me do that while I worked on my mental and physical health. They also offer lots of resources for stability and financial issues. I’m grateful to everyone for the support on my journey. They need a much bigger building to help people who truly want to change their lives.

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but we just needed an affordable place to sleep and didn’t expect to spend much time in the room. The front desk staff were friendly when we arrived, the room was clean, the TV worked, and the beds were comfortable. There was a small kitchen, I felt safe, and nobody bothered us. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the price, and I’d definitely stay again.
