For $70 a night, I had to fetch my own toilet paper, make the bed, put up the shower curtain, sweep and mop the floor, and scrub a disgusting toilet. There was a couple upstairs fighting and throwing things at 2 AM, too. This place is ridiculous and shouldn't call itself a motel. The manager seems to set prices based on who you are, what you look like, and what you have to offer. I'm paying $70 a night while two other people I spoke to pay $55.

The property is well maintained, and my room was very clean. It was extremely quiet and peaceful, with several places to eat within 5 minutes or less and Wal-Mart just 2 minutes away. The front desk employees were amazing.

I've stayed at this little roadside mom-n-pop inn three times now. It's dated, sure, but clean, with fresh, soft towels and sheets, and friendly, professional staff. I didn't see any insects like the ones mentioned in an earlier review. I'd recommend it to friends or family visiting the area. There are newer, more luxurious places if that's what you want, but if you'd rather not spend that much, Budget Inn is a good choice. See you soon.

The heater was set to 82, but the room was freezing, especially when we woke up and it had stopped running. The place has no insulation, so don't stay here if you need a steady room temperature. I didn't see bugs, and I checked the mattress for signs of bed bugs. But the top blanket looked unwashed, only one of the four pillows had a case, we never got towels, and the sheets had black stains. People were extremely loud when we had to get up early the next day.

I only needed a room for a short rest, but I would've been better off at a rest stop. Roaches seemed to be coming from every direction, some already dead and others met their maker after my crew arrived. My friend was so uncomfortable they slept in the car instead, and felt safer there until they heard someone outside yelling, “I can't find my crack pipe.” It was traumatizing.
