The family who manages this hotel are truly amazing people. They’re friendly and accommodating, and they’ll always have my business when I’m in town. The place is very clean, though it’s in a shady part of town and could use a few upgrades. It’s my favorite place to stay in all of Sacramento.
It’s a family business, and the price is lower than at other places. A good option if you’re short on money.
The staff were so nice, and the other tenants were really cool. I liked how the staff interacted with everyone, it made the place feel welcoming. I’d highly recommend staying here.
When I was a homeless traveler passing through Sacramento, I’d stayed at the Bel air a few nights earlier. The Sahara was much cleaner, the people were nice, and it was cheaper. They gave me room number 2, the nicest room. Five stars from me. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in Sac town. Good times. Peace and love 🤟 Jess-
I’ve been staying at this motel for 15+ years, and the owners have always treated me fairly. The rooms keep getting updates, with paint, new carpet, and tile. Out-of-town work crews like me appreciate how quiet and secure the place is. I don’t understand the bedbug comment. The mattresses get changed regularly. I think that person brought his own bugs with him.
