Our room was quiet, and the atmosphere was peaceful. They were still painting some areas, but the workers were done by 6 pm. There was breakfast available, which some hotels we've stayed at recently still haven't brought back. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had extra of anything we needed. We stayed one night a few weeks ago and were surprised by how nice the rooms were. Full stars from me, even with the renovation going on, because we got a restful stay.

The staff were polite and helpful, so I don't blame them for the problems. It was probably management, though I may have visited at a bad time, and that still isn't a good excuse for a hotel. Renovation work was underway, so there was loud noise all day. I was out most of the time, and it was quiet at night. The towels and washcloths we found had yellow spots, which didn't feel clean. The lights and outlets on both sides of the bed didn't work, and with no overhead light the room was hard to see in. If this was a renovated room, it didn't feel very new. The shower was already a bit dirty, and the door looked like someone had tried to break out at some point 😂😂😅. Breakfast wasn't exciting, with nothing hot besides self-serve waffles. Near the end of the stay, someone tried to come into the room about an hour before checkout. For around $120, I'd only stay if nothing else was available. It did the job, but not as well as I hoped.

We spent 2 nights at this recently remodeled hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were super comfortable. We'd highly recommend it.

A cleaner even offered to help with my suitcases at checkout, and the staff overall were super friendly and helpful. The property was spotless. Breakfast was simple but good, and it was set out at 6 AM even though the stated start time was 6:30 AM. I especially liked the beds, the room layout, and being able to open the windows, which is rare at modern chains and, in my view, helps you sleep well. The property was quiet and peaceful, tucked away from the town's main intersection but still within a 5-minute walk of amenities. It appears to have had a full facelift based on the new furniture and fixtures, though I didn't ask. The couple who own it seemed proud of their business and well-traveled. I didn't take photos, but can vouch for how clean it was. Give them a try when traveling in southwestern Missouri. It's a short hop off I-49 between Kansas City and Fort Smith, or off I-44 between Springfield and Oklahoma City.

The beds were comfy, and the pillows were the softest. Rooms seemed spacious and had a big mini fridge. Breakfast was disappointing and limited, though there were waffles. It's not a Hilton, but works perfectly for one night. Clean, too.
