They said they had video of me smoking in the room, but I don't smoke cigarettes. When I asked to see it, they showed me a photo of a lighter on the windowsill, and it wasn't even mine. They told me I had to pay $250 or give up the rest of my stay. Things were decent until that happened. I can't believe it. I'm never staying here again, and I'd tell anyone considering it to stay away.

The room was so comfortable I kept snoozing my alarm and slept a few hours later than planned. It smelled clean, and the bathroom had fresh towels and a good shower. The sink and vanity mirror sat below my waist, though, so they were too low for me. Maybe it was a mobility accessible room. The two women at the desk were lovely. They welcomed me with big smiles, got me checked in and handed over my keys quickly, then offered an upgraded room. They also warned me that the whole building was being renovated and apologized for the mess. The lobby and breakfast area were bright and spotless, and the place felt welcoming. I've stayed at plenty of Super 8 hotels, and most of those stays were mixed, usually more negative. This one was a nice surprise. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable, and I'd recommend staying here.

We couldn't see or hear the nearby natural gas processing or transfer plant from our room, even though it looked bright and sounded loud as we drove past. The location itself seemed dark. Our room was clean and smelled fresh, but the restroom hadn't been renovated yet and the toilet gave us trouble. The staff were kind, especially the night clerk, who fixed the toilet handle.

I wouldn't stay there again, even if it cost me my job. The owners showed no consideration for guests, and the construction business owner was a hothead who yelled when people complained. I've stayed at the Super 8 off and on for work over the past year, and there was always some kind of work going on well past check-in. The bathroom was dirty, the workers were loud and rude, and the water pressure was so high it felt like it was peeling my skin off.

The night shift woman was friendly and helpful when we stopped here while passing through town. The hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was free, so there isn't much to complain about.
