My husband and I weren't desperate enough to get ripped off, so we slept in the car that night. The place looked bug-infested, with broken car windows and flat tires out front. Everything inside was dirty, from the sheets to the carpet, and some rooms still had TVs with tuning dials like from the early '90s. The Chinese couple who own it should find Jesus. They were ripping people off, charging $180 a night for a place worth maybe $30, and I'm being generous. The wife got mad when we decided not to stay and yelled in Mandarin. From the way she was yelling, I could tell she was cursing me out. You weren't getting our money. God bless!

There was a crack pipe in a bedroom drawer, which makes you wonder about the motel's cleaning standards. The TV looked like it was from the '90s, and the old woman was very rude. I woke up thinking I might have pink eye. There were bed bugs too, and despite years of complaints, the place is still infested. I have photos of them.

Nothing was clean. The sheets were covered in human hair and definitely hadn't been washed, and the fridge was disgusting. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes. I slept on top of the blankets and used my jacket to cover myself. If you're coming here to murder someone or pay for sex, you've found the right place.

Stay far away. Cockroaches and bed bugs seem to be the norm. The two people who clean the rooms, Mike and Lauren, are, in my view, out-of-control junkies. I felt like I could get hepatitis C just from them breathing on me. Stay away, folks.
