Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New Bedford

Scott at the front desk was so kind and knew a lot about the area. I enjoyed hearing about his years as the night clerk, and he even remembered me when I came down at 5 a.m. to check out and asked how my week had gone. I was here for a week in April for a business conference, and the hotel was clean. My room was nice, and they refreshed it and made the bed each day. My things were spread around, but nothing was touched; they just left fresh towels and refreshments. The bed was very comfortable, with clean, fresh linens. I also had some great food at the conference center, especially the clam chowder soup. Everyone on staff was friendly. When they heard it was my birthday, they gave me a yogurt and cookie to take back to my room. :) I tried the restaurant across the street too, and the seafood was very good. I'd definitely stay again and tell my friends about it!

The Fairfield Inn team contacted me after I accidentally left my Apple Watch behind, to make sure I got it back. That honesty and care really stood out. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the location is central and convenient for everything. The room was comfortable and suited my needs perfectly. I'd definitely come back.

We’ve been coming back every year for nearly 10 years. The location is hard to beat, and we know the staff will always be kind, helpful, and considerate at any time of day. The building may not be new, but it’s kept clean and in good shape. The rooms are fresh and comfortable, and we can count on them being clean.

Mallory made check-in one of the best we've ever had. She was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. From our room, we could see the docks, and the waterfront location is just a short walk from the lovely historic old town and the great Whaler’s museum. The room was spotless, cleaner than some more expensive hotels we've stayed in. I'm allergic to dust and mold, and didn't notice any signs of either. Mold is often a problem in heating and AC systems, and at another hotel two years ago I even had to sleep wearing a mask. Here, I spent three nights with no allergies. A wonderful stay all around.
