Bostonian Inn

The bed bounced a lot, so whenever my partner moved during the night, I felt it. It was still reasonably comfortable, though. The room had plenty of space and was clean enough. This is a plain, old-style motel, so don’t expect anything fancy, but it was okay for what it is.

The room and bathroom were cleaner than I’ve experienced at most motels, and they had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. It’s a simple, affordable place, and the furnishings are dated. I could hear some street noise, but I had a pleasant night. Thanks!

My husband had valid ID with his name on it, but at check-in they demanded a passport because he’s from another country. They questioned why he didn’t have a Texas driver’s license and told him he couldn’t stay without a passport. I’d already made the reservation in my name and told them he would pay when he arrived, and that he was the only one staying. Someone had called me to ask for payment details, but there hadn’t been a problem then. I don’t know who was working the desk that night, but I heard how rudely they spoke to him. The way he was treated felt racist, and it was unnecessary.

Room 102 was ours on 4/6/25. It was roomy and very clean, and the receptionist was so sweet. Nothing fancy, and there isn’t breakfast, though there is a coffee pot in the room.
