Travel Inn

Pretty basic place, and there's clutter everywhere. The staff were friendly, and the shower was good, but unfortunately I saw roaches.

We'd stayed here before and thought it was decent for the price: not special, but clean enough and close to the event we were attending. This time was awful. The sheets were clean, which was the one bright spot, but the rest of the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was dirt on the floor and something like dried cat vomit, marks in and around the sink, awful toilet stains and streaks, shampoo drips all over the shower walls and doors, and an obviously uncleaned floor behind the bathroom door. I asked the front desk for extra towels and for someone to wash the floor and bathroom while we were at our event. The towels arrived on top of the heater by the door, not in the bathroom, and nobody cleaned. Luckily I had antibacterial wipes to clean the surfaces we needed to touch. The bed and pillows were like bricks. It was as cold inside as it was outside in February, then took 10 hours to heat up and became sweltering. There were no hangers, and despite the renovation, the wallpaper was already peeling. So many problems. We won't be back.

I was a little nervous after reading earlier reviews, but for the price, I think it's worth it. I stayed four nights and didn't have any issues. The deposit was only $50, which wasn't bad, and management was professional. The place was clean and very affordable, though there's not really breakfast. They made Christmas with my kids memorable, and I'll definitely book again. Thank you!

I stayed three weeks and was happy with the place overall. The manager is a very nice guy, but the older man Tim at the front desk was rude and didn't speak to people politely or respectfully. I said hello or good morning and he wouldn't even respond. I don't know how he keeps a front desk job. Also, the outlets in my room were old and loose, which seemed like a fire hazard.
