Studio 6-Lubbock, TX

Having a roomy loft with two bathrooms was a big plus, and the kitchen had what we needed. The staff made a real effort to make our stay pleasant, especially the enthusiastic new manager, Shane. I think he'll be a valuable part of improving this Studio 6 over time. The room could have been a lot cleaner, and the place needs major updates to stay in demand. Still, it met our needs and we'd stay again.

The room did what we needed: a place to sleep and get ready in the morning. It was clean, though dated, and the staff were friendly. Our king bed came with just one glass and one coffee cup to share, and some appliances were unplugged and didn't work. The stay was nice, and everything else was good. :)

The bathroom was poorly cleaned, with two dead bugs and hair left on the floor. The shower curtain had mold and mildew, and the bulb over the shower was dusty and had no cover. Housekeeping never came by. In the kitchen, the stove was disgusting, with black burner plates that looked like they had never been washed. The tiny trash can was barely big enough for anything, and a regular kitchen sized one would make more sense. The room itself was large, but after working in the hotel industry, I can say this room would never pass inspection.

This place needs upkeep, and we won't return. The pillows were so hard that I was glad I brought my own. The remote still didn't work even after they gave us new batteries. The coffee maker was too dirty to use, and the shower curtain was nasty. There was dust in the room and at the entrance, along with dead bugs.
