Lone Star Inn

I've stayed here a few times and found the rooms pretty clean. The maintenance people and office staff have been nice to me and my husband. They sometimes give you a little extra time to pay if you need it, as long as you pay most of it then, though not always. I'd like a job here and would keep the place clean, but even if that doesn't happen, I'll still stay when I need to. I gave it four stars to start because the internet only works in the front room and office, and the ice machine is currently down. I do think $10 is too much, though every place sets its own price, of course.

I didn't realize a cash deposit was required for a room I'd already reserved. The inside wasn't clean, and there were lots of strange stains in the restroom and outside. There's damage to the hotel too, and I hope I won't be charged for something that was already there. There were also a lot of booger stains, for some reason.

We used to stay here often and always got the same room. I'd never had a problem until this time, when roaches were crawling everywhere. I can't figure out how to post pictures, or I would. I'll never stay here again. If you do, fumigate your belongings before going home! The room cost $60, plus a $20 deposit, and all I got back was the deposit.

We felt completely safe, and the so-called rough area turned out to be fine. The rooms were really nice and clean, the price was great, and every staff member we met was kind and super helpful. We had a great stay, and this is definitely where we'll book from now on.
