We’d stayed on Chincoteague Island before, but this time we enjoyed the inn and got to explore the surrounding area. The Garden House and our room were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It made for a peaceful, relaxing weekend away, and Grace was a great host. We hope to come back this summer.

The Nelson room suited us perfectly, and that bed is still on my mind. Grace made the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, and we could happily have spent the whole visit on the property. Garden and Sea Inn has loads of charm and makes for a peaceful, comfortable stay. It was a wonderful experience and worth the splurge.

Learning the property’s history was a lovely part of the visit. Be sure to sit by the old fireplace, browse the photo album, and sip coffee with classical music playing. Grace, thank you for the amazing food and such good conversation. Those two nights were the most comfortable and welcoming stay I’ve ever had.

Grace has great local suggestions, so be sure to ask her. She also makes her own beauty products, and I loved the lavender lotion and soap I got. She’s a lovely person and works hard to make sure you’re taken care of. Our room was beautiful and clean, our dog loved exploring the property, and breakfast was delicious. We had an excellent stay and would come back.
