It was quiet and clean, and the owner was nice and respectful, so I wouldn’t call it a terrible stay. The smaller, cheaper rooms are the issue. The larger ones are nicer and more up to date, but $80 a night feels steep for a small TV, a little refrigerator, a small table, and two chairs. There’s no dresser or wall unit for your clothes, and I had to keep fixing the toilet during the week I stayed, even after calling to report it. I’m fair, but I don’t like hotels doing the bare minimum or cheaping out while charging high rates. At $80 a night, it ought to be more like Comfort Inn. For what I mentioned, I’d give it three stars. Do a bit better or lower the price.

I’ve never stayed here myself, but my sister has. She’s between places at the moment, and this motel fits her budget. She says they have a studio too.

It felt like a scene from A Nightmare on Elm Street. Honestly, I’d sleep under a bridge before staying here.

The grounds are well kept and the place looks nice from outside, but don’t come here with pets. They aren’t allowed, and they’ll charge $250 if they find one in your room. I’m a truck driver whose truck was being worked on at the shop next door, so I figured I’d use the downtime to stay here. That was a very wrong idea. This is probably a perfect place if you don’t have pets. My review and complaint have nothing to do with being caught with one.

The owner was hesitant about my service dogs at first, but once I showed the required paperwork, he was understanding and accommodating. The place was really nice, and I imagine it had been renovated recently to keep it clean. I suspect the negative reviews I’ve seen are from a while back. The area was quiet, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the showers hot. A very good stay for the price.
