Comfort Inn & Suites New Lisbon

We drove two hours to WI Dells for my 18th birthday after Mt. Olympus had booking problems with its website, and ended up settling on this hotel. The place was filthy and smelled bad. Crystal Ginger handled room service terribly, so we had to switch rooms, but the other available room was disgusting too. I asked the front desk employee whether they reuse the bedsheets, and got no answer. We paid about $100 for one night. They said they refunded us and that he had done all he could on his end, but my bank account shows another charge for the same amount. I don't recommend staying here. My mom and I hardly ever get time off work, and this is the service my family got. Very disappointing. 🥺😢

Check-in was easy thanks to the friendly staff, and the room was quiet enough for a restful night. It was cozy and clean, and the price felt like good value for a comfortable stay.

We told them politely that our rooms were dusty and dirty, and all we got back was, “sorry about that.” The rooms smelled moldy, with white stains across the carpet, dust on the furniture, and hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. These were the dirtiest rooms we've ever stayed in.

The large fridge and freezer were handy for keeping picnic food ready, and there was enough room to spread out without feeling cramped. If you're biking the Elroy-Sparta Trail, the trailhead is about a 25-minute drive away, and the hotel has plenty of outlets for charging gear. We didn't use the pool, though the area looked clean and inviting. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We especially liked being able to set both the temperature and fan level on the heating and cooling unit. A lot of hotels lock down those controls, which can be frustrating. The Comfort Inn & Suites in New Lisbon, WI is set back from the highway and main road, so it was quiet but still easy to reach. It made our biking trip more convenient and enjoyable.
