River Bluff Farm Bed & Breakfast

After hiking Old Rag, my fiancé and I wanted somewhere to relax, and this was just right. Donna was so sweet and made us frittatas and muffins for breakfast. From the bedroom window you can see the mountains, and it's far enough out that there's no traffic noise. I slept like a baby. If I'm back in the Shenandoah area, I'll definitely return.

We needed somewhere quiet to stay overnight during a long drive, and this worked out great. We arrived a bit late, but the self check-in instructions were clear. Donna was lovely company at breakfast on the deck, and her property is beautiful and peaceful.

We just got back from a relaxing two-day anniversary getaway. Choosing this place at the last minute worked out really well. The location is a little off the beaten path, which made for a peaceful stay, and having a private bath was a nice touch. Donna was accommodating and made us feel welcome, almost like family. Her breakfasts were flavorful and nutritious. We liked it enough to plan a return visit.

We stayed at The Cottage at River Bluff Farm on our way to Florida, and it was such a cozy stop on a cold winter night. Donna welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The muffins and fresh duck eggs were lovely. The grounds are pretty, with river access and views of the mountains and farm. We'd definitely stay again.
