The staff were friendly, though they couldn’t speak English. The building is run down, with 1970s furniture, hardly any outlets in the rooms, and a very dark parking lot. There aren’t any washers or dryers, either. My company booked it, so I had no say in staying here. There are only two of us in a 50-room hotel this week, if that tells you anything. At $60, it’s not worth it. If you need a cheap room, pay the extra $16 for Travelers Inn.

They still had to get a room cleaned for me at 1 a.m., and it took half an hour before I could even get in. The lobby smelled awful. My room had no heat, and the shower broke before I could use it because the water pressure was too much for its plastic part. The sheets and pillows were stained, and there were used Q-Tips by the front counter. It’s the cheapest place in town for a reason. Stay away, or pay a little more for the Holiday In.

I was told to wait 30 minutes for a manager to arrive so I could “buy a room.” While I waited, the front desk staff seemed to be watching TV instead of helping. No manager ever came, so I left to look elsewhere. When I called back, they said a room was ready, and I reserved it right away, telling them I’d arrive within half an hour. By the time I got there, they said they’d sold it. Don’t stay here.

I canceled my reservation after being told the money would be refunded to my card, but I never got anything back. When I called to ask, they yelled at me and said, “not my problem.” They took over $400 from me. I’ll drive to work from now on instead of staying there again.
